CME – Allied & Dental

The IMASA Eastrand & Johannesburg Branch partnered in hosting an Allied Health CME with a parallel Dental Session and thereafter a combined Ethics Session on the 11th November 2017 at the Sunnypark Hotel in Parktown Johannesburg.

With +- 50 delegates, the programme was well received and appreciated by these specialties, which allowed us to focus on topics of interest.

Topics & Speakers Included:

“Nutrition & the Brain” Taryn Coghlan

“Our moral professional compass & an interactive Ethics discussion” Ragiema Thoken Mahomed

“The NHI from a community denistry perspective & The Changing Demographic Profile of dentists in SA” Prof Ahmed Bhayat

We would like to thank ABSA Islamic Banking for sponsoring this event.

In addition to this our sponsor saw the benefit in what the organization had to offer and encouraged all non-members to sign up as members, generously offering to pay their membership fees for 2018. ALHUMDULILLAH +- 20 new members came onboard and we look forward to them becoming active members of the organization In Sha Allah.
