During January 2016 the Islamic Medical Association Durban Branch and MATCH signed a contract affording the IMA the privilege of becoming a MATCH partner for circumcisions. Alhumdulillah we met all their audit criteria and started our first circumcision clinic at 301 Randles Road in partnership with Darul Yatama on Sunday the 6th of March 2016.
We are allowed to circumcise children 10 years and over. On the Sunday 9 children and 3 adults were circumcised. Our gratitude to Dr. Chips Bhayat, Dr. Anwar Peer, Dr. M. Saley, Dr. M.Z. Sheik, Dr. Yusuf Ameer, Dr. Haroon Patel, Dr. A Abdulla and Dr. Ismat Moosa.
The launch of this clinic was held at 14:00 on Saturday 5th of March 2016.
