Radio Programmes

Using community radio stations as a medium of educating individuals the IMA offers Muslim patients a deep insight into medical problems and possible solutions using conventional medicine as well Quran and Sunnah. The IMA is affiliated to 2 community radio stations, Radio Al Ansar and Radio 786.

IMASA Cape Town continues to be a source of benefit to the community Alhamdulillah. Since mid-November 2013, IMA Health file is now broadcasted every Sunday evening from 18:00-19:00. We are inviting specialists as well as organizations in as guest speakers. The jingle for the programme is: “Radio 786 Health file in association with Islamic Medical Association (Cape Town Branch) with your health at heart”.

>     IMA Medical File Programmes – IMASA Durban co-ordinated and presented by Dr Farouk Haffejee on Saturday
        mornings at 10 am and every Monday evening at 8:30 pm on Radio Al Ansaar on 90.4FM.
