The clinics run by the IMASA Durban Branch, as its biggest day to day tasks, saw a successful completion of the new building at our Malagazi Clinic and an Official Opening in March 2014 by Ethekwini Municipality Mayor James Nxumalo.
The Marianhill, Braemar and Mobile clinics continue to service surrounding rural areas with an average of 5200 patients being consulted monthly.
Dermatology, Dental and Optometry services are successfully conducted at the Marianhill clinic and soon to commence at Malagazi as well Inshaa-allah. The year also brought with it the opening of an additional clinic in Inchanga in partnership with Inchanga Islamic Centre. Further, our clinics run a monthly home based care training service in Malagazi where 25 students are trained monthly. Further, TIBB health education is provided to patients at our clinical sites.
