IMA Klerksdorp Branch in Association with the ladies Organisation in Klerksdorp I.N.S.P.I.R.E (Intrigue, Nurture, Support, Persevere, Innovate, Radiate, Excel), collected donations from the Community and IMA members in order to put together 33 towel gift sets which included creams, toothbrushes, toothpastes, socks, roll on, soaps and chocolates for the students of Sautul Islam Girl Centre in Carletonville. Together with the gift parcels we handed over food necessities to stock up their Eid dispensary. IMA has a continuous soup kitchen where soup and bread gets distributed every Friday to 80100 needy individuals.
These individuals form part of Muslim Aids Programme TB and HIV awareness campaigns as they are all vulnerable to contact tracing and co infected with HIV. World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in association with MAP 15 June 2015 Senior Abuse Awareness Day with the senior citizens of Jouberton, Klerksdorp. We distributed a fruit parcel as well as pamphlets and a motivational talk.
