IMASA Jhb Branch partnered with Sandton Islamic Association o?ered free medical screening at the Mosque Tour & Open Day on Saturday – 29th November 2014. Sister organizations like SANHA & the Caring Women’s Forum were also present at this auspicious occasion. Blood Pressure & Glucose testing was offered to those who attended from the community and Alhumdulillah, +- 100 patients were screened in total. 3 nurses and 5 medical volunteers played a huge role in making this possible and free glucose machines to those patients who most needed it.
IMASA used this platform to do some Da’wah work by distributing Islamic literature and at the same time promoting the existing and future projects of IMASA. The event was a huge success and all the organizations present gained tremendously by being a part of this initiative and enjoyed the interaction with community members.
