IMASA Ladysmith Branch executed another successful Health Awareness Programme on the 16th October 2016. The free medical screening took place in the Uitvaal area 60 km outside of Ladysmith. Eye screening, Dental Screening and Basic Medical Check-ups were performed by a dedicated team of Healthcare Professionals. We were greeted by 130 people on arrival in the early hours of the morning and as the day progressed the numbers swelled to almost 300, Alhumdulillah.
Even with the exhausting hours and extremely hot weather, bottled waters were distributed to the patients and the volunteers persevered in their efforts. We make dua that Allah [SWT] accept the efforts of those who were involved and always use us for His service AAMEEN.
