IMASA Johannesburg Branch launches the new Orlando Clinic in Soweto

Alhumdulillah, IMASA Jhb Branch in partnership with Jamiat Ulama SA [Siddiqui Trust] launched the opening of a primary health-care clinic on the 13th April 2013. The aim is to cater for the people of Orlando East [Soweto] and surrounding areas Inshaa-allah.

The day clinic will operate from Masjid-Ul-Ansaar and is managed by a primary health care nurse from 09h00 – 15h00 [with the opportunity to consult a doctor on a referral and appointment basis].

Alhumdulillah, all equipment, furniture and medication were sponsored by members of the IMA. Patient numbers have been steadily increasing since inception and the clinic will also serve as a source of Da’wah to the community Inshaa-allah.

We are pleased to mention that we have recently [2015] employed a full time, trained Lifestyle Advisor funded by Ibn Sina Institute of Tibb through the consistent support of Prof Rashid Ahmed Hassen Bhika.
