A Gender Based Violence Seminar was arranged for by Sr. Tougheeda Watson & Dr Nafisa Khan on 9th November 2019. The ethics accredited seminar was well attended and was of great benefit to all who attended. Topics included: Toxic Masculinity, The legal rights of women in SA, Child Abuse in Perspective, Domestic Violence and Self Defense.
The semimnar was an excellent platform for partnerships with other organizations like Saartjie Baartman/Cape Mental Health, for IMA to build on in the near future inshaa’Allah.
