Alhumdulillah, IMASA EASTRAND Branch in partnership with Benoni Muslim Charity Organization & Kwa-langa Muslim Shura Council offered free medical screening to close to 200 members of the BRAKPAN community.
The screening included: weight, height & BMI, blood pressure testing, glucose testing, consultations with GPs & Dieticians, Dental screening, eye screening, podiatry & Breast examinations.
We would like to thank the organizations involved and ALL medical volunteers & high school students who selflessly gave their time & expertise to help us make it a success. ALHUMDULLLAH

IMASA Eastrand Branch Coffee ConneXion was hosted at the Upcycled Cafe in Benoni on the 06th April 2019. A variety of ALLIEDS in the Eastrand region attended the event.
Medical professionals met and introduced themselves, sharing their areas of expertise. Ideas in Continued Professional Development activities were also discussed, specific to Allied workers such as case presentations and a journal club. Whilst chatting, they enjoyed tantalizing treats from the quaint and homely Upcycled Cafe.
A warm thanks to all that attended. We hope to see more activities, programmes and projects materialize from this event and we look forward to benefitting from the involvement and expertise of all our Allied Members Inshaa allah
