Venue: NMJ Hall, Durban IMA Baytul Nur hosted its Ladies only Wellness day on Sunday, 23rd October 2016.
The fair was held in association with ABSA and generously supported by Ahmed Al Kadi Private Hospital. The fair commenced at 10.00 am and was officially opened with a dua at 11.00. It was a full day of entertainment, shopping, eating, fun and beauty treatments. There were several talks and one was on Breast Cancer.
Ladies were entertained by the hilarious comedian Annaluxmi. Make Up and Scarf demonstrations were presented by the talented Shagufta from Xpressions. There were 63 different stalls selling / promoting Health & Beauty Products, Make Up, Abbayas, Scarves, Jewellery, Gifts, Kitchenware, Sweets, Savouries, Meals, Cakes, Organic foods, Fitness Demonstrations, etc.
Our food court sold a variety of tantalizing and yummy food. Samoosas, Healthy Salads, Biryani, Roti stuffed with kabaabs & Boti chicken, hot dogs, chips and yummy cakes were on sale.
Kids were well occupied at our kiddies’ corner with a jumping castle colourful crayons and coloring books. They were also entertained by a clown.
This successful annual event attracted about 800 guests. Our special thanks go to the team of volunteers that give their time and energy in ensuring that our events are successful. May Allah reward them with the best in both worlds, Ameen
