IMASA Durban Baytul‐Nur hosted their first ever Health, Wellness & Beauty Fair on Tuesday 29th September 2015 at the Al Ansaar Hall in Overport with over 600 visitors a ending. This was a ladies only event. Ladies were treated to a complimentary hand massage and bottomless tea and coffee.
Exhibitors had a range of items on display and for purchase. Freshly grown fruit and vegetables were available and visitors were treated to freshly squeezed juice. Other stalls included a variety of health and beauty products. It was a day filled with health, wellness and beauty.
Blood pressure, glucose testing, eye and hearing screening were offered at a nominal fee. The reflexologist and Thai massage therapists were inundated. Overall the event was a huge success, Alhamdulillah.
Volunteers and Staff of the Islamic Medical Association must be commended for a sterling effort.
