IMASA Western Cape partnered with Zimisile Trust distributed blankets and hygiene packs to the elderly and needy residents of Langa on Saturday, 22 July 2017 as our Madiba Day Initiative.
Hygiene packs were prepared at the IMA office with the help of medical student, Aakifah Parker. 192 packs included: Dettol; Antibacterial Soap; Toothpaste; Toothbrush; Vaseline; Zambuck; Sanitary Towels (ladies only). Elderly ladies are often caregivers of teenage children in the community. The blankets and packs were greatly welcomed by the recipients, Alhamdulillah, the distribution took place at the masjid adjacent to the IMA clinic.
