The Fajr Programme sets the tone of the day with insightful naseegah-advice offered by local Ulema and traditionally on Saturday, a post-Fajr walk on the breath-taking shores of Durban. The spectacular sight of sunrise greeted our delegates, most of whom walked leisurely enjoying the scenery and reminiscing about days and conventions gone by. The troops were well marshalled by Colonel Dr Riaz Ismail and Maulana Moeneeb Martin who ensured that everyone arrived safely, worked those muscles and rushed back in order to reach the conference centre for the Plenary – Welcome Session. Once again, this walk was a nostalgic IMASA moment.
Back at the Coastlands Conference Centre, the registrations are buzzing with delegates streaming in and visiting our Exhibitors.
