IMA LADYSMITH BRANCH BACK IN ACTION!!!!!
Alhumdulillah on the 15 November 2020 our IMA Ladysmith team conducted an outreach programme at the St Antonines Home for the aged at Ekhuvukeni, 60 km from Ladysmith.
The IMA team consisted of doctors, dentists, optometrists, audiologists, community workers, local Imam Moulana Cassiem Sulawale, representatives Simon Gumede and Soojat Khan of Operation Sukhuma Sakhe, Ahmed Karrim from Al Imdaad and learners from the Islamic Educational Centre.
60 residents were screened and treated across all the medical stations.
We are indebted to Sr Busi Hlomane who manages the home, Mr Ngubane the chairman of the Board , Mr Hlatshwayo the resident Professional Nurse at the home and the staff at the Home for facilitating the visit.
Jazakallah to all IMA members who sacrificed their time and provided a much needed service which was appreciated by the residents. Allah bless you all. AAMEEN
In addition to this, Al Imdaad donated a microwave oven together with a kettle, Iron and a toaster to the home. Br Feroz Moosa of PMB also donated some much needed linen to the home. May Allah reward you all. AAMEEN
