9th February 2013 – Free screening at The Uwais Qarnie Islamic Centre in Robertsham:
This was the first time that we conducted free screening at this venue. In addition to our basic screening, we also had a physiotherapist in consultation and conducted eye and dental screening. 180 people in total were screened. MAP and SADTU facilitated the HIV/AIDS counselling and testing of 140 patients and 4 tested positive CPR training was carried out by Prof Ashraf Coovadia and Zeyn Mohamed.
