7th, 8th, 14th & 15th May 2013 – Frail Care Workshop:
IMASA Johannesburg branch and Islamic Helpline hosted a 4 day frail care workshop. The aim being to equip members of the community with the necessary skills to assist those requiring this service and to build a database of volunteers who will offer their services in the future once the project materialises.
AWQAF has now partnered with IMASA Johannesburg Branch, whereby sponsoring the accredited training of 5 of these volunteers through St Johns who are now fully skilled and equipped to facilitate this project.
IMASA Johannesburg Branch and AWQAF also offers rental of medical equipment at a minimal costs.
