Graduation is an exciting time. It’s both an ending and a beginning: Warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future.
The IMASA Durban Branch graduation dinner was held on the 27th November 2017 at Orient Hall, Durban. It was a warm, cosy and exciting evening spent with 400 attendees. The audience was a mix of familiar and new faces. The newly produced video clips on IMASA and AAKH were met with great enthusiasm and interest.
The guest speaker, Ms Fatima Hassim, Managing Executive: Vodacom, Minara Chamber of Commerce Professional Achiever of the year 2017 enlightened the audience on the technology advantages and innovations that will be focused on the health sector.
Across the various health disciplines, Durban campuses, 2017 ends with 78 Muslim graduates and postgraduates.
The event provided a positive platform for networking amongst existing and potential IMASA members. The graduates were encouraged to: greet the future with anticipation, dream big and work hard, always to remember your roots and most importantly, the Almighty, without whom, this would all not have been possible!
