On the 13th May 2017, the Ahmed Alkadi Private Hospital & IMASA Durban Branch hosted a “Diabetic Foot Care Pre-Ramadan Programme with a morning and afternoon session focussing on educating the community about “The Diabetic Foot” with guest speakers such as; Dr Hoosen Randeree, Dr Ahmed Kadwa & Anette Thompson.
Foot Screening was conducted by our qualified Podiatrists and then followed by the afternoon session, which entailed the Pre-Ramadan Screening and medical advice offered by all our medical volunteers.
We would like to thank all our volunteers and those who attended this event. We hope that the aim and objective of offering informative medical education and free medical services has proven beneficial to our community.
