IMASA Johannesburg Branch Committee Members and the Jamiat have initiated this project after hosting successful training sessions at the IMASA Convention 2012. The intention is to offer the necessary CPR skills to committee members from the various masaajied as well as committee members and educators from various Madaaries and Islamic Schools. We also hope to have each masjied purchase an AED machine and donate one to a masjied in the underprivileged areas Inshaa-allah.
The pilot project has thus far commenced in the Gauteng Region and appreciation to those members who have generously donated monies towards purchasing training equipment for this project. Alhamdulillah the team recently designed their own logo to advertise the project.
Mass training sessions are held at the Auckland Park / IMASA Johannesburg Branch Office premises.
Training is provided at a minor fee of R100 per PARTICIPANT with qualified instructors & assistant instructors facilitating the sessions.
