Cataract operations are performed at the Sebokeng, Leratong, Klerksdorp, Nelson Mandela, Natalspruit, St Aidans and Pretoria West Hospitals. Since 2005 to date over 3000 operations have been performed.
In the private clinics, an operation costs R9000 – R17000. However, IMASA Johannesburg Branch still continues providing this service at only R1000 per operation. We rely solely on the sponsorship of generous organizations and members of the community and organization.
