The NMJ hall provided a perfect backdrop to round off women’s month. IMA Baytul-Nur Durban arranged and presented a fun filled evening for women only on Friday 29th August 2014. Those attending adorned masks that bewildered the eye. The dazzling women relaxed in an ambience of splendour.
Prizes were presented to the best dress, best mask and best overall. Formidable judges had the most difficult task deciding on the winners in the various categories. Jailoshini Naidoo, the guest entertainer for the evening had the audience in stitches with her brilliance and skill using humour. The [MC] Farzana Variawa used her unique expertise in raising R3000.00 by auctioning a frame and watch.
The décor aptly complemented the theme for the evening which was “LIVING YOUR FULLEST AS A WOMAN”.
The event, although a fundraising effort by the dedicated volunteers of Baytul-Nur served as an exceptional MARKETING tool for the activities of Baytul-Nur.
