Alhamdullilah, the IMA Johannesburg branch held an extremely successful CPD accredited CME in partnership with 27four Investment Managers on the 5th March 2016 at the beautiful venue of 54 on Bath hotel. This was the first CME for 2016 and was well attended by 70 attendees.
The programme commenced with a presentation by Fatima Vawda, Wayne Van Rensburg & Eric Meyer; representatives of 27four who elaborated on their Financial Literacy Campaign, which was aimed at educating and assisting health professionals with regards to their personal and business wealth management.
The medical talks covered a broad range of topics with the Dr Bilal Bobat providing an insightful discussion on liver transplant and its place. Thereafter, Dr Shoyab Wadee gave an in depth presentation on Urinalysis. The programme ended with Professor Mohammed Tikly covering the ethics aspects, that being the important topic of “Communicating with Fellow Health Professionals.” The IMA Jhb Committee would like to thank 27four for the sponsorship and assistance in hosting this successful CME.
