● Received his dental degree in 2007, from the Universities of  Stellenbosch & Western Cape. 

● Received a postgraduate diploma in oral implantology in 2009 (University of the Western Cape), the Colleges of medicine primary Maxillo Facial surgery examinations in 2010 and another postgraduate diploma in oral surgery with the University of Pretoria in 2011.

● Within this period,  he also spent time as a volunteer within the Maxillo-Facial surgical unit at Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital. This experience furthermore enhanced his clinical work and stimulated him to persue various certifications via the trauma surgical unit at the University of Witwatersrand.

● In 2014 Feheem finally grasped the opportunity to specialize within the department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology at the University of the Western Cape and received his masters degree (MCHD oral medicine and periodontology) and board certification in 2018.

● During his postgraduate studies he assisted in lecturing and teaching to both undergraduate and postgraduate students within the fields of implantology,  periodontics and oral medicine. He is currently a part-time postgraduate consultant at UWC and private practice in Cape Town.

● Her thesis was on Psychosocial aspects of cleft lip and palate patients and their parents at Red Cross Childrens Hospital

● She has been involved with Red Cross initially as a service dentist on a sessional basis and later as a member of the cleft team

● Currently predominantly involved in training post graduates training programs incl; Orthodontics & paediatric dentistry and aesthetic dentistry

● She then joined Velile Tinto Cape Inc in 2012 as a Professional Assistant in their Transfers & Deceased Estates Dept

● In 2018 she and a colleague, Cindy Mulder established Essack Mulder Inc, a 100% black female-owned law firm

● She completed a course on drafting Muslim Marriage Contracts at UCT IN 2016, enabling her to register Muslim Marriage Contracts at the Deeds Office in addition to Ante-nuptial contracts

● Her interest in empowerment led to a collaboration with Radio 786, which resulted in her discussing various property and deceased estate related topics every Wednesday at 2pm

● He worked closely with the SAPS in investigating various cases incl; notorious serial killings known as the “Sugar Cane Killer” which was later made into a documentary 

● He has achieved a number of degrees and diplomas; Bachelor of Surgery & Bachelor of Medicine (Mysore University – India), Diploma College of Medicine SA in both Forensic Pathology & Clinical Forensic Medicine, certificate in Medical Law – UNISA, Fellow of the College of Forensic Pathology – College of Medicine SA

● He is currently employed as Senior Specialist/Lecturer Forensic Pathologist at the University of Cape Town

● Only medical doctor in SA with a diploma in Forensic Odontology at UWC in 2017
